Hyderabad: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj stated on Friday that Pakistan has been isolated even among Islamic countries after the recent Pulwama terror attack that killed 40 CRPF personnel.
Speaking at a campaign for BJP’s candidate N Ramachandra Rao in the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency, she recalled that in 1969 because of Pakistan’s pressure India although was invited to the inaugural conference of the OIC countries but could not attend the proceedings. When India attended the OIC’s 50th anniversary meet in March this year Pakistan tried to get Swaraj disinvited.
She stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made relations with Islamic countries strong and this is the benefit of his foreign visits.
