I-T raids MP CM’s aide in Indore


New Delhi: Delhi Income Tax (I-T) officials this morning is carrying out raids in the residence of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath’s aide, Praveen Kakkar.

According to media reports, the search began at around 3 am and over 15 officers raided Kakkar’s Vijayanagar house in Indore. It is learnt that the raids are being under way in six other places of CM’s aides in Bhopal and Delhi.

It is learnt that former advisor Rajendra Kumar Miglani’s house in Delhi is one of the places where the searches were conducted

As per sources, Rs 9 crore was found.

Following the implementation of election code of conduct last month, the two officers resigned and the I-T stated that they made huge transactions through hawala.

It maybe noted that this comes a week after raiding the place belonging to Congress-Janata Dal Secular coalition in Karnataka.
