Chennai: The first look of AR Murugadoss directed flick starring superstar Rajinikanth’s is titled ‘Darbar‘ and it was released today. The poster indicates that it could be a cop film.
The poster shows a spectacled and bearded Rajinikanth and carries the punchline “you decide whether you want me to be good bad or worse.” An IPS shoulder pin, a handcuff, couple of guns and a police dog can be seen on it.
Also the poster also carries what seems to be the Gateway of India in Mumbai and this hints that the movie might be based in the western metropolis.
This is the first tie-up between Rajinikanth and Murugadoss. The music is by Anirudh, his successive outing with the superstar after the successful ‘Petta.‘ The movie also stars Nayantara as the leading lady and is being produced by Lyca Productions. Darbar is said to hit the screens for Pongal 2020.
