Chennai:Ā “BJP has made the poor, poorer and the rich, richer. Goods and Services Tax (rolled out on 1 July 2017) has largely affected the small and medium scale industries,” saidĀ Bahujan Samajwadi Party chief Mayawati yesterday.
Speaking at a campaign rally, she slammed the rulingĀ Bharatiya Janata Party in the Centre by stating that it used both the CBI and IT department to attack rival parties.
She further flayed the Congress by pointing out that the party’s promise of Rs 6,000 every month under the Nyuntam Aay Yojana scheme was vote bank politics and also that both BJP and Congress did not include the issue of reservation. She further promised that if her party comes to power,Ā reservation would be included in the private sector apart from the public sector.
