Chennai: Palavakkam resident Arul Srivastva (10), was awarded the I Dan Black Belt by Hanshi Shihan Hussaini 9th Dan- Red Belt and president, Isshinryu India.
Trained by instructor Taashi Veera and inspired by the resources of Isshinryu Karate, Arul has also written a book on the martial art, which has been reviewed by Hanshi Shihan Hussaini, and will be released soon.
