Chennai: Rotary Club has dedicated an ophthalmic operating table to Public Health Centre, West Mambalam.
Rotary Governor Elect 2020-21 S Muthupalaniappan handed over the table in the presence of PHC president and medical director, Dr M K Srinivasan, and Rotary and PHC coordinator K S Nagarajan.
According to a press release, the table was donated under the district matching grant coupled with the earnings under the named endowment contribution by Dr M K Srinivasan, who has given $ 25,000, to Rotary International.
The PHC thanked Rotary Governor Babu Peram and the district foundation chairman, Suchitra Sagar, for the gesture.
PHC honorary secretary R Kannan, joint secretary S Vasudevan and vice-president T A Subramaniam participated.
