Tirupati: On 17 April, Maithripala Sirisena, the President of Sri Lankan will visit and offer prayers to the Lord Venkateswara temple at Tirumala. He had visited the temple in August 2016 and February 2015, and this would be his third visit.
According to media reports, the president will land at Renigunta airport from Hyderabad at noon on 16 April and after a night’s stay he would take part in the ‘Suprabhatha‘ ritual next day.
Sirisena would fly to Bangalore after offering prayers. He would be accompanied by his wife Jayanthi Pushpa Kumari and family members.
