Chennai: P Nirmal Kumar (6/10) bagged a six-wicket haul to propel Coimbatore to an innings victory over Tirupur in the TNCA Inter-Districts Under-19 knockout match at the PSG IMS ‘A’ Ground in Coimbatore Tuesday.
Despite batting twice, the visitor fell short of Coimbatore’s total (332) by 182 runs. Nirmal was the star of the show for Coimbatore as he picked up six wickets on Day 2. He was well supported by Aditya Kumar Gaurav, who scalped three.
