Chennai: Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami today said the AIADMK-led alliance will emerge victorious in the Lok Sabha polls and Assembly by-elections which were held yesterday.
Addressing mediapersons in Salem, Palaniswami said, “There was more voters turnout this time as people wanted this government to continue.The present AIADMK alliance is likely to continue in the future as well.”
He further said officials will look into the issue of the damages incurred in several places due to heavy winds which blew in many locations in the State yesterday.
“Since Model Code of Conduct is in effect, we cannot discuss this with the officials,” he added.
