Chennai: Madurai Corporation Junior Assistant Raja Prakash has been dismissed form service for entering the centre where EVMs have been kept.
Sources said the action was initiated by Madurai Corporation Commissioner Visakan based on the recommendations made by District Collector Natarajan.
Madurai Corporation Office Assistant, S Srinivasan, Junior Assistant, Raja Prakash, data entry operator Surya Prakash and Special Tahsildar at the Assistant Commissioner (Excise) accompanied K Sampoornam who went to the counting centre in Madurai following which they were suspended.
