Yeteryear heroine Kasthuri will play the lead in a heroine-centric movie titled ‘Epiko 302’.
Directed by Salangai Durai of ‘Kathavarayan’ fame, the film features Kasthuri in the role of a police officer.
Says the filmmaker, “She plays an IPS officer Durga. She is entrusted with the job of solving a couple of murder cases besides protecting a lover couple who seek refuge in a police station. It is a powerfully written role and she has daredevil stunts to do.”
Bankrolled by Sengodan Duraisamy for South India Productions, the movie is written and directed by Salangai Durai. Cinematography is by Dhandapani and music by Alex Paul. Nag Sakthi and Varshitha play young couples. Vaiyapuri is also in the cast. Shooting for the movie is almost complete.
