Igor, who made films including Vandha Mala and Kalabha Kadhalan, is back with an engaging emotional fare.
Titled VaKiBa (Vannakili Bharathi), the movie speaks about how religion plays spoilsport on a man’s survival.
Written and produced by Soppan Pradhan, the movie has Manishajith as female lead. A newcomer Vijaykaran is the hero. Ganja Karuppu, A Venkatesh are also in the cast. Cinematography is by S Sakthivel and music is by Mujibrehman.
According to Igor, “A man hides his religious identity and falls for a girl. Romance blossoms. What happens when his religion is revealed forms the crux of the movie.”
“Though it conveys a strong message, it is commercial entertainer with good songs and comedy sequences.” he adds.
