Kolaigaran has come to me at an appropriate time. I thank my producer and director for their support, says actor Vijay Antony.
The movie, directed by Leelai fame Andrew, is a whodumit thriller where an intelligent cop (played by Arjun) is on a hunt for a psycho killer (Vijay Antony).
Ashima Narwal essays Vijay’s love interest. Dhananjayan’s Bofta Mediaworks is releasing the film.
Speaking about the film, Vijay Antony says, “After a few average outings as hero, I got this opportunity. I feel my success in cinema is due to my savouring good work. I became a music composer after relishing Raja sir music. Arjun sir’s work in ‘Kolaigaran’ taught me how to perform, right from how he handles scenes without dialogues, subtle eye and lip movements, body language etc.”
On working with director Andrew, he says, “This film is very special to me as Andrew is my friend. He is a hard worker, sincere and never compromises at any point.”
Arjun praised Vijay Antony as a humble person and commended Andrew for bringing on to the celluloid exactly what he had narrated.
