Actor Shanthnu Bhagyaraj searching for a much-needed break in Kollywood has earned a pat on the back from his idol, actor Vijay, after signing up rustic entertainer ‘Raavana Kootam.’
Raavana Kootam is directed by Vikram Sugumaran of Madhayaanai Koottam and produced by an NRI businessman Kannan Ravi.
After having tried and failed at the box office for hits, Shanthnu has decided to try his luck with a rural flick. Vijay texted and congratulated him on the new project saying that the combination and title sound interesting.
Justin Prabhakaran is composing the music for the film, and the team is now working on the rest of the cast and crew. It is said that Shanthnu is going all in for the film and is even learning Ramanathapuram slang to render an authentic touch.
