Chennai: A mason fell from the third floor of a building at Arumbakkam and died last night.
According to the police, the deceased was identified as Pravith Kumar (34), a resident of Vinayagapuram Second Street, Arumbakkam.
Preliminary investigations found that he was sitting on the balcony of a building in an inebriated condition when he slipped and fell. His body was sent to KMC for postmortem.
In an unrelated case, Ramesh (45), a daily wager and resident of Kamarajar Colony, Kodambakkam was climbing down the stairs of a two-storeyed building when he slipped and fell at 8.50 pm, Thursday. He died of injuries.
