Cinematographer Nizar Shafi who has handled camera for Naaigal Jaakirathai and Mahanubhavudu has turned director with 7, a Tamil-Telugu bilingual.
The film stars Rahman, Regina Cassandra and Nandita Swetha in lead roles.
Talking about the film, the director said, “I have titled the film ‘7’ because the story revolves around seven characters, who are a part of a police investigation. The film is an investigative crime thriller.” He also revealed that the characters in the film are inter-connected.
“There will be a point in the film, where all characters come together, and the suspense unravels. Thereon, the audience will see all characters sharing the screen space for most of the second half,” added the director.
