Hyderabad: Following the recent goof up in the intermediate exam declaration on 18 April, the Telangana school education department has taken steps and precautions to ensure no problem arose during the announcement of SSC exam results.
The SSC (secondary school certificate) public examinations were held in March this year and the results would be released on 13 May.
The department is thoroughly checking the results and giving counselling for students and parents. In another measure, pre-results and post-results counselling has been introduced. Already 70-80 per cent of government schools have completed taking part in the pre-result counselling. The students and parents were informed about various alternatives like supplementary examination in the event of poor performance.
The results would be released school-wise and hall ticket-wise. The headmaster concerned can see who’d passed and who’d failed and he can contact the students and parents for post-result counselling. Also a mobile app would be made available to the students for posting their grievances.
