Chennai: With city witnessing water scarcity this summer, not only residents are affected, but birds too.
To help the winged ones, Gurudev Medical Foundation has given 15 bowls to K K Nagar 11th Sector Exnora, so that they can fill them with water to keep on the terrace.
“To follow the principle – Live and Let Live – we organised a function at the sector park, 28 April, where we gave the bowls to residents in the presence of Gurudev Medical Foundation founder J Fatheraj Jain, Exnora Greater Chennai president R Govindaraj, 11th sector members S Sathyanarayanan, K Murugaiyan, Narendran among others,” said sector president K S Rajendran.
“There are around 300 houses in our sector. This is an opportunity for us to serve the thirsty birds. Seeing this, we hope all residents follow this during the summer days,” he said.
