Chennai: Parents enroll their wards in Carnatic classes wanting them to excel in music. Unfortunately, some children do not get the hang of classical music and discontinue as soon as we teach them the basics. They find it too boring. But everyone loves singing film songs.
Talent Studio has come out with a comprehensive package of training and voice culture to help such people sing film songs well. “We are not in any way against Carnatic music. There is no doubt that it is the basis for any music training. But this way of training will give access to the joy of music to all,” said a release.
The programme can be done as a month on month training or as just a summer camp. “The training can continue as long as you want to learn. We also arrange shows to showcase your singing talent,” the release added.
The training will be done by Dr Lavanya, who is a cine play back singer. She has sung in films in more than seven languages. She has worked for maestro Ilayaraja, Imman and many others. She has lent her voice to many popular advertisements and has been the judge for popular TV shows as well, said the release.
