Friendship is a common theme in Tamil cinema. Such movies always managed to strike a chord with the masses. Joining the list is Natpuna Ennanu Theriyuma?

Directed by Sivakumar and bankrolled by Ravindar Chandershekaran, it stars Kavin, Remya Nambeesan, Arunraja Kamaraj and Raju in lead roles.

In a nutshell, it is about three friends and how their relationship changes after a woman comes into their lives. The plot takes a turn when the friends fall for the same woman.

The movie opens with a brief introduction of the trio – Siva (Kavin), Raju (Raju) and Mani (Arunraja Kamaraj). They are friends since their childhood days. They run a wedding planning business.

The first half of the movie focuses on how they do their best to get orders from potential, soon-to-be-wed couples. There is competition to their business thanks to Ilavarasu, who often tries to outshine them but fails.

Siva is a man who is responsible in life and takes decision carefully while Raju is an alcoholic, who often lands in trouble. And then there is Mani, who is light-hearted and humorous.

Sivakumar has managed to lace commercial elements in the right mix. The comedy involving the friends is sure to tickle your funny bone. The highlight of the movie is how things change when Shruti, played by Remya Nambeesan, enters the scene.

Kavin fits the role well, while Arunraja’s comical act will have you in splits. Remya Nambeesan is the scene-stealer. She has enough opportunity to display her acting skills. Though there are some logical lapses and predictable scenes in the second half, Natpuna Ennanu Theriyuma ends up a decent entertainer.
