Karur:Ā In connection with the hurling of stones and eggs during a meeting in which Makkal Needhi Maiam founder was taking part, the police have registered a case against local BJP functionary and two other men.
The actor politician was addressing an election meeting near Aravakurichi when the incident happened. Nobody was hit or injured in the incident.
Following this, MNM workers beat up two people suspected to have hurled stones and eggs. However, the police intervened and took them away for questioning.
