Actor-director Parthiban is ready with his next titled Otha Seruppu. Written and directed by Parthiban himself, it features just him all throough the film.
At the audio launch of the film Sunday, Kamal Haasan, said, “Parthiban has done the ‘solo act’ in the film. I am sure Parthiepan will join the list of my favourite top actors like Tom Hardy and Robert Redford who played solo cast member in their films. I wish him all success”.
Parthiepan said there were 12 movies in the world where ‘solo act’ was performed. “But the specialty of Otha Seruppu is that the film has been written, directed, produced and acted by the same person and that is me. In that sense my film will be the 1st attempt in the genre followed by 12 movies.”
Actor Rajinikanth appearing in a video expressed confidence that Otha Sruppu will make it big. Filmmakers Bhagyaraj, Shankar, KS Ravikumar, Lingusamy, producer SR Prabhu, actress Priya Bhavani Shankar, music composer Santhosh Narayanan and audiographer Resul Pookutty were also present on the occasion.
