Seeru brings together Jiiva and Navdeep. The former plays there hero while the latter is baddie. Much recently stunt scenes involving the two were shoot in Chennai. Produced by Vels Film International, Seeru is Rathina Sivas second film after Rekka.
He says, “Seeru’s core concept is friendship. The movie has Riya Suman making her debut in Kollywood.” Navdeep, who has acted on and off in Tamil films, was last seen in director Vijays 2015 Vikram Prabhu-starrer Idhu Enna Maayam. Comedian Satish is also part of the movie.
