Kalavani 2, starring Vemal and Oviya, will be out in theatres 28 June. It is directed by Sargunam, who helmed the original.
Saranya Ponvannan reprises her role from the original as the mother of Vemal, RJ Vignesh will be seen in an important role. Oviya reveals that she will be playing a mother in the sequel.
Vemal, meanwhile, is awaiting the release of Kanni Rasi. Oviya, on the other hand, has Halitha Shameem’s Silukkuvarpatti Singam and an untitled film with Snehan in the pipeline.
