Bengaluru:Ā 118 websites to help citizens receive approvals through online submissions for building plan, diversion of land use change among others were launched by the Karnataka Chief MinisterĀ H D Kumaraswamy yesterday.
This way middlemen and delays might be avoided. Speaking to reports, Kumaraswamy said the process has been simplified as it saves time and money of people. Transparency and corruption would also be kept in check.
Urban Development Minister U T Khader said the initiative of his department will save people from running from pillar to post to get approvals.
These websites and softwares integrate 14 departments. Applications can be submitted online and the statusĀ would be sent through SMS to the people.
