Chennai: Bank of Baroda (Bangalore) defeated India Cements by 37 runs in the finals of the 50th All India YSCA Trophy, at the MA Chidambaram Stadium here in Chepauk, Sunday.

Electing to bat first Bank of Baroda (Banglore) ended their innings at 229 for 9 in 30 overs. Zeeshan Ali Syed top-scored with 90 (67 balls, 5 sixers and 8 fours). J Koushik of India Cements registered a four-wicket haul.

Chasing 230 to win the final, India Cements were all out for 192 with J Koushik top-scoring with 53. Bank of Baroda’s off-spinner K Gowtham registered a five-wicket haul to help his team lift the title. Former cricketer, M Venkatramana distributed the Trophy and mementoes.

Bank of Baroda(Banglore) 229 for 9 in 30 overs( Zeeshan Ali Syed 90 (67b ,5 sixes 8 fours), Sujith Gowda 34, J.Kousik 4 for 32, Abhishek Tanwar 3 for 50) beat India Cements192 all out in 28.1 overs (J Kousik 53, MK Shivakumar 41, Abhishek Tanwar 31, K Gowtham 5 for 34,S L Akshay 3 for 39)
