Over 50 people attend yoga session at Central Metro station

Chennai: As part of International Yoga Day, Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) conducted its first yoga session at Central Metro Station at 6.30 am today.

According to a press release, 50 and above enthusiastic participants participated in the morning yoga session conducted in association with Suthaveli Sabhai, a Pollachi based yoga institution. The yoga camp is being conducted from 20 to 23 June.

Over 75 people participated during the afternoon session held at Saidapet Metro Station, Thursday.
The simplified yoga camp has been designed for all age groups between 8 years and 80 year old to practice easily.

Yoga master A N Dhanasekaran is conducting the camps at eight metro stations in the city. The camp will be conducted in two sessions – 6.30 am and 5.30 pm.

Yoga camp will be conducted at Tirumangalam and Egmore Metro stations Friday and at Mannadi, St Thomas Mount Metro Stations Saturday and Vadapalani, Ashok Nagar Stations Sunday.
