Chennai: Ashok Nagar resident Sharan Sridhar and his father C N Sridhar shone yet again in two different Table Tennis tournaments.
In the first event, Sridhar won the finals defeating Anand Jayaraman – 11-6, 12-10, 11-6 in the finals of the YMCA Table Tennis tournament held at the Ashok Nagar Chapter, 8 June.
J Narayanan finished third defeating Capt. Vijayan – 11-8, 9-11, 11-8 In the next tournament played 9 June, Sharan Sridhar beat C N Sridhar – 9-11, 13-11, 11-8 in a scintillating finals of the Intraclub Table Tennis Tournament conducted by Madras Boat Club. In the Masters category, Sridhar reigned supreme beating Vijay Gopal 11-5, 11-6.
