Tirupati: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) that governs the Lord Venkateswara hill shrine received a donation of Rs 1.1 crore from two NRI devotees from the United States yesterday.
According to a media reports, the devotees are K Madhavi and K Nagesh. They had handed over the offering through a demand draft to Anil Kumar Singhal, Executive Officer of TTD.
They had requested the Tirumala temple authorities to make use of the fund for the Pilgrim Free Meal Trust called Sri Venkateswara Nitya Anna Prasadam Trust, which is run by the shrine.
