Chennai: The city police arrested three history-sheeters wanted in a murder case from their hide out at Pallavaram this morning.
According to the police, the trio hail from Pulianthope. Ambedkar alias Ambed Kumar (34), is a rowdy from Kannigapuram. He has committed three murders and 20 other cases are pending against him. His accomplices are Stephen (37) from Venkadesan Nagar, New Colony and Yugan (30) of Das Nagar.
The trio allegedly murdered one Thennarasu, a gangster from Thiruvallur. He is the brother of ‘Bomb’ Saravanan.
Today, at 6.30 am, Inspector Ravi, along with Sub Inspector Murali and two police constable arrived at the hide out at Pallavaram and arrested them at gun point.
