Chennai: The 100-year-old Perumal Temple tank in Selaiyur, once a haven for ducks, has gone dry now.
Fortunately, Good Samaritans of Selaiyur, who live near this pond, have made an artificial set-up for these ducks to thrive.
The locals, even at this time of water crisis, somehow manage to keep the manmade lake filled with water for the birds to survive.
