Chennai: Sadhguru Shri Gnanananda Padhuka Mandapam, a spiritual centre at Govindapuram near Kumbakonam, has been constructed by Shri Guru Vittal Seva Trust with a shrine for Sadhguru Shri Gnanananda Giri Swamiji.

According to a press release, the essence of the teachings of Swamiji is: Be happy by making others happy (maghizhvitthu magizh). Following his teaching, Shri Guru Lokopakara Trust has been formed to help the deserving at a remote village like Govindapuram, to meet their basic needs of food, clothing and good education based on our culture.

Annadhaanam (poor feeding), vasthra dhaanam (distributing new clothing to poor) and vidhya dhaanam (free tuition centre with value based education and distribution of study accessories and bi-cycles) are being done by Shri Guru Lokopakara Trust having Sadhguru Shri Gnanananda Padhuka Mandapam as its base.

To enhance the facilities and to be of service to more people, the Padhuka Mandapam has to be expanded. With a view to raise funds for this holy cause, Shri Guru Vittal Seva Trust and Shri Guru Lokopakara Trust have jointly organised a week long spiritual discourse by Govindapuram Shri Balaji Bhagavathar on the Divya Charitham of ‘Shri Krishna Chaithanya Maha Prabhu’ at Infosys hall, Shri Ramakrishna Mission Matric School, Bazullah Road, T Nagar, from 25 June to 2 July from 6 to 8.30 pm.

Those who would like to donate to the building fund, can donate to Shri Guru Vittal Seva Trust and donations for charitable activities can be sent to Shri Guru Lokopakara Trust.

For details, contact Shri Gnaneshwar Bhagavathar 97899 87038 or Shri Chandramouli at 99401 32254.
