Chennai: Visvas Institute of Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam is all set to start its yet another batch of free Vishnu Sahasranama classes from 7 July at Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam Centre, Venkatanarayana Road, Madley Road and Sree Ayappan temple, Mahalingapuram.
Very recently, the institute awarded certificates to the students of the earlier batch who have successfully completed the course at Ayyappan temple.
Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam Centre, T Nagar, president N Sri Krishna gave away the certificates in the presence of Mrurali of Sree Krishna Sweets.
Speaking about the free course, Sivaramakrishnan, one of the organisers, said, “We have both in-house and outside faculty to teach Sahasranama in all the above three centres.”
“The classes are spread over six months with 20 sessions and students will be taught meaning for the thousand namas as described in Vishnu Sahasranama.”
“Even after completing the course, the students can join hands with us in chanting sessions and other voluntary services of our varied society oriented activities.”
A press release said outside faculties like Dr Padmini from Bhavan’s Vidyashram, Dr Ranganathan, Chinmaya Vidyalaya and Rajalakshmi from Sarada Vidyalaya along with in-house faculties such as Dr Ramabadran, Dr Latha Ramanujam and Ramadurai co-ordinate the sessions covering all the centres.
“Our institute will commence next batch on 7 July at all centres with different timings,” pointed out Sivasubramanian.
