Chennai: M Kaushik Gandhi (113) and B Anirudh Sitaram (120) struck centuries as Jolly Rovers posted 400 against Nelson in the TNCA First Division fifth round match at the Nelson – Wahe Guru Ground here on Saturday.
While Kaushik’s knock included nine boundaries, Anirudh’s ton was laced with seven fours and two maximums. M Prabhu (5/112) was Nelson’s best bowler, taking five wickets. Elsewhere, Cheteshwar Pujara (177) and R Srinivasan (118) scored tons to power MRC ‘A’ to 381 for six against Grand Slam. This was India international Pujara’s second successive ton in the competition.
