Chennai: TVS Motor Company launches India’s first Ethanol based motorcycle – TVS Apache RTR 200 Fi E100 at Rs 1.2 lakh.
To be available in the States of Maharashtra, Utar Pradesh and Karnataka, the bike was launched in New Delhi by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways of India, Nitin Jairam Gadkari. CEO of NITI Aayog, Amitabh Kant, and chairman, TVS Motor Company, Venu Srinivasan, were present.
First showcased in the 2018 Auto Expo, the bike is equipped with a twin-spray-twin-port EFI technology, that TVS says ensures better drivability, faster throttle response and reduction in emission levels. The bike produces 21 PS power and can reach a top speed of 129 kmph.
