Chennai: The city police arrested five persons with knives – the gang was planning to murder a man in Pulianthope. According to the police, the five men wanted to kill Vignesh alias Vicky (23).
Vicky became noted after he was sent to jail for stabbing a policeman in 2018. Two days ago, Vicky had attended a birthday party of Chandar (23) in Pulianthope. However, a fight broke out during the party with Vicky beating up five persons.
The five of them plotted to kill Vicky and were roaming in the neighbourhood with knives and swords when the police caught them.
The men were identified as Prakesh alias Kulla Prakesh (23), Chandru (23), Sathish alias Lotta Sathish (22), Arun alias Isarabeta Arun (22) and Prem alias Premkumar (21).
