Chennai: Shanthnu, son of veteran filmmaker K Bhagiyaraj is waiting for the right break. His search seems to have ended now. He has signed to play a key role in Maniratnam’s production venture. Titled ‘Vaanam Kottatum’, it has Vikram Prabhu, Madonna Sebastian and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead roles.
The shoot of the film began on Friday and Shanthnu has already joined the sets of the film. VIP fame Amitash Pradhan has also been roped in to play a pivotal role.
Co-written by Mani Ratnam, the film also has Sarathkumar and Radhika Sarathkumar in crucial roles. Popular singer Sid Sriram will be making his debut as a composer with this one and the makers are planning to release it in early 2020.
