Chennai: AR Rahman is all set to have a live concert in the city. A three event, it will be held on 10 August (Saturday), at YMCA Grounds, Nandanam, Chennai.
The Mozart of Madras will be performing along with his band from 7 pm onwards. The two time Grammy winner is expected to play some of his most popular hits such as soundtracks from Roja to Bombay to some of his most recent hits.
The composer has worked to many prominent directors and actors. He is also the most sought-after name in Hollywood. He has worked in English, Chinese and Iranian films. Rahman is also the winner of several National Film Awards, BAFTA Awards and Filmfare Awards and a Golden Globe, for his work on Slumdog Millionaire.
