Chennai: Singapenne, the first single song from Vijay’s Bigil that got leaked recently, will officially be released on 23 July. Written by Vivek and sung by the film’s composer AR Rahman himself, the song glorifies womanhood and urging them to accomplish their dreams without worrying much about society.
Vijay plays a footballer who later trains an underprivileged women football team in a murky competition filled with politics.
Directed by Atlee, the film features Nayanthara, Kathir, Vivek, Yogi Babu, Indhuja, Varsha, Amritha, Rebba Monica, Anandaraj, Jackie Shroff and Daniel Balaji. Shooting is nearing completion and is scheduled to hit the screens for Deepavali.
