Kottayam/Kochi: Senior Kerala MLA and NDA partner P C George Sunday claimed six Congress MPs and three legislators from the state had held talks with the BJP central leadership and that there would be defections. Congress rejected the claim by the Poonjar MLA and called him a big mouth, saying he makes such statements to get media attention.

Speaking to reporters, P C George of Kerala Janapaksham Secular party yesterday claimed that there would be defection in Congress party in the State as six MPs and three MLAs were in talks with central BJP leaders. His party had recently joined the BJP-led NDA in Kerala. HE had even further noted that his claim would be proved right.

Meanwhile, KPCC Vice President V D Satheesan, dismissed George’s claims. He reportedly said George was a big mouth and no one takes him seriously. George was doing so to get media attention, added the Congress leader.
