Chennai: On the 27th day of darshan of Lord Athi Varadar in Kanchipuram today, it being Saturday that is considered auspicious to worship the Lord, people thronged the Sri Varadaraja Perumal Temple premises.
The beautiful Athi Varadar deity was adorned with light green silk with an enhancing zari border. Though varieties of flowers were used to add to Lord Athi Varadar’s charm, the rose garland that covers His whole body needs special mention.
The dry fruits crown that was placed on the idol yesterday, continues to remain an attraction.
