Chennai: International People’s rights committee along with ‘Kaithadi’ publications organised a felicitation ceremony for VGP Group of Companies chairman V G Santhosham, who has installed the 50th Thiruvalluvar statue at Chicago as a part of VGP Ulaga Tamil Sangam recently.
According to a press release, for the past 25 years, Santhosham has been installing statues for saint Thiruvalluvar across the world and in the 10th World Tamil conference held at Chicago, he installed the 50th statue.
Santhosham was felicitated with a memento by Congress leader Peter Alphonse. Justice TN Vallinayagam, Justice P Jothimani, Poet Andal Priyadarshini and Inba and Karu Nagarajan from BJP are among those participated in the event.
