Chennai: Alfred Cricket Academy, Chennai, is organising an Under-13 20-over tournament for Alfred Premier Cricket Trophy at Thiruthangal Nadar College, Chennai.
According to a release, four teams took part in the tournament which are Padma Sarangapani Cricket Academy, Villivakkam, Alfred Cricket Academy ‘A’, Madhavaram, St Jospeh Cricket Academy, Villivakkam and Alfred Cricket Academy ‘B’, Madhavaram.
The tournament is played in a league-cum-knockout format in which each teams play three matches in the league, with the top two teams qualifying directly for finals. In the league matches, Alfred CA ‘A’ and St. Joseph’s CA secured the top two slots and qualified for the finals. The finals will be played 4 August, Sunday.
