Chennai: Arup Sinha has taken over as the Executive Director (Regional Services) for IndianOil, Southern Region comprising Tamilnadu and Puducherry, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala, the firm said in a release.
Besides being the regional in-charge for key areas including Human Resources, Finance, Product Logistics, Contracts, Safety and Security, Aviation and Quality Control, Sinha would also function as the regional-level coordinator for Oil and Gas industry in the five southern States, said the firm.
A post graduate in management from University of Lucknow, Sinha has over three decades of rich experience in the petroleum sector across core functions including Operations, Aviation, expansion of Retail Network and Institutional Business, LPG and Lubricants Retailing.
At the helm of HR policy making in IndianOil, Sinha had made several critical contributions to the recruitment and training processes in IndianOil including the e-learning platform for IndianOil employees. Sinha has played a significant role in digitising performance management system and implementation of Performance Related pay based on robust evaluation systems, added the release.
