Chennai: Home appliances major Haier has introduced a new series of 829 front load fully automatic washing machines. The new models come with seven Kg and 6.5 Kg capacity respectively, it said.

According to a release from the firm, the ‘Muscular Drum’ washing machines incorporate 128 muscles technology that ensures better scrubbing of clothes with lesser abrasion while providing extra care to the fabrics.

The washing machines come equipped with Haier’s anti-bacterial technology, said the release, adding it kills up to 99.8 per cent germs thereby providing a clean and hygienic wash.

President, Haier India, Eric Braganza, said, “With the introduction of our 829 series, we are offering a luxurious design with highly advanced features to serve the customers with best in class technology and holistic washing experience. For Haier, Indian families remain to be a priority and we’ll continue to deliver the customer-inspired products to enhance the experience of every Indian household.”

The HW70-IM10829TNZPH machine comes in at Rs 35,990 and the W65-10829TNZP model costs Rs 32,990.
