Chennai: Governor Banwarilal Purohit along with his wife Pushpa Purohit, called on Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, at Amir Mahal, Friday, on the eve of his departure for Hajj, as leader of India’s Hajj Goodwill Delegation – 2019.
The Governor greeted the Prince of Arcot and his wife Begum Sahiba Sayeeda Abdul Ali for their pleasant journey and wished them a safe and successful Hajj pilgrimage. The Governor expressed his happiness on the Prince of Arcot being nominated as leader of the delegation by the Government of India and said, “You are representing our nation and we are proud of you, Nawab Sahib.”
The Prince of Arcot thanked the Governor for his kind courtesy and honour bestowed upon him, on the occasion of their Hajj journey, a press release said.
