Chennai: The Adhimoola Narayana Trust, functioning at Seventh Avenue, Ashok Nagar, is constructing Sri Adhimoola Narayana Temple along with His consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi, at Vilangadu village, in Kanchipuram district.

Though kumbhabishekam for main deity was performed 29 June 2014, the construction work on other shrines for Mahalakshmi, Ramar, Sundarsana and maha-mandapam are going on.

Adhimoola Narayana Trust founder-chairman V P Gopal Rathanam said, “The construction work is going on in full swing. There are regular devotees doing special pooja to the main deity as their prayers and wishes were fulfilled after visiting the temple.”

The temple is considered to be ‘Navagraha dosha nivarthi sthalam’ and ‘pitru sapa vimochana sthalam’ as per the sthala purana.
