Chennai: Mellisai Mannar Fans Association will conduct lectures on the topic MSV in Mukkani Suvai today (4 August) at Srinivasa Sastri Hall, Luz Church Road, Mylapore, at 5.30 pm.
According to a release, there will be three lectures with the first one on the topic – Harmonuous Strings of Mannar, on the use of violins in Mannar’s composition by David Chakravarthy.
The second one is on the topic, The Incomparables – An insight into the music composed in remake films by Ram N Ramakrishnan and the thid one on the topic MSV’s mesmerising rhythms – Magical influence on rhythm in Mannar’s songs by Venkat Sridhar.
