Chennai: OXYMAT of Denmark has donated an oxygen generator to Hindu Mission Hospital, Tambaram, costing Rs 28 lakh.

A press release said the hospital is a 220-bed, multi-specialty, tertiary care charity institution serving the underprivileged sections of society over the last 36 years.

“The hospital is able to provide medical relief to over 5 lakh patients every year. We have been accredited with NABH and NABL for our services. The oxygen generator will provide uninterrupted supply to patients and minimise dependence on cumbersome and expensive oxygen cylinders / liquid oxygen. For the hospital, it is onsite solution for 24×7 production and supply of medical oxygen,” the release said.
