Chennai: Rithik Varshan scored an unbeaten century as his side, Ramachandra Public school defeated Bala Vidya Mandir by a huge margin of 164 runs in the TNCA City Schools Tournament Under-14 tournament for B Somasundaram Trophy, here, yesterday.
Batting first, Rithik Varshan slammed a century off just 76 balls, with his innings comprising eleven fours. He was ably supported by a fifty from B Harish as they helped Ramachandra Public School post a total of 209 for the loss of six wickets in 30 overs. Chasing the total, Bala Vidya Mandir managed to score just 45 runs on the board as they faced a huge defeat.
